LOCATION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE

We are located at Level 5 and Level 6 of Student Services Centre.   Other sections that are part of our team are as follows:

1. Sixteen Halls of Residence

2. Sports and Recreation Centre

3. International Student Centre

4. Student Counselling Centre

5. Nanyang House

SERVICES PROVIDED BY STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE

We serve you in the following areas:

Student Activities

Our partners comprise the Students' Union, the Welfare Services Club, the Cultural Activities Club, the Sports Club, 13 academic clubs, 16 Junior Common Room Committees at the halls, and 67 student societies and other organisations.

Student Accommodation

There are 16 halls of residence, each with a capacity to accommodate 500 to 652 students.   The total capacity is 9226 vacancies.   The monthly rental charge per person ranges from S$155 to S$200 for a twin-sharing room and from S$215 to S$280 for a single room.

Student Affairs Office provides information on HDB flats or private residences that are available for rental.   Please check out the website under Accommodation.

Graduate Housing

Graduate housing is provided at the following locations:

* Graduate Hall

* Nanyang Valley

* Nanyang Heights

Sports & Recreation Centre

The facilities are as follows:

Indoor: activity rooms, fitness gyms, sports halls, squash courts, indoor bouldering wall and table-tennis room.

Outdoor: running track, archery range, basketball courts, cricket pitch, multipurpose field, multipurpose courts, sepak takraw courts and tennis courts.

Aquatic: swimming pool and diving pool.

Internal Shuttle Bus Service

An internal shuttle bus service runs within the campus.   The schedule is as follows:

Mon to Fri:     0800hrs to 2100hrs

Sat:              0800hrs to 1400hrs

except Sun and Public Holidays

International Student Centre

A one-stop centre for all international students, the International Student Centre serves more than 7,800 international and exchange students from over 85 countries through a comprehensive range of support services and facilities.

Student Counselling Centre

The centre provides professional counselling services, group programs and talks, training workshops for students as well as consultation services, training workshops and talks for staff.
