Students who attend the option Special Term classes have to pay fees which are charged on a per-course basis.
For students who first accepted a place in and before AY2010-11, the special term fees are fixed at the following rates for the remaining duration of their degree programme:

1. All amounts quoted are exclusive of GST.
2. For students paying subsidised fees, GST on the fees is subsidised by MOE.

Fees will not be charged for compulsory core courses/projects and minor courses that are conducted only during the Special Terms. The list of courses that are excluded from charging of Special Term fees are:
