At NTU, we value greatly the parents and guardians of our students as important stakeholders and partners in education. We take pride that parents have entrusted us with the responsibility of nurturing their sons and daughters' intellectual growth before they embark on their future careers and we would like to reciprocate that trust by giving parents an insight into their university life – the holistic intellectual, social and recreational environment that they have immersed themselves in.
Parents’ Day is the first of many opportunities for parents to become an active stakeholder in their sons and daughters' education and in NTU. This year, the Parents’ Day will be held on Saturday, 1 October 2011, at NTU’s beautiful Yunnan Garden campus.
In addition to interesting seminars, student performances and even complimentary Traditional Chinese Medicine consultations, the programme for the day includes visits to the various Colleges, Schools and Halls of Residence, as well as opportunities to meet with NTU faculty and other fellow parents over lunch. |
