Subject Librarian for Sociology:

• Develop library's Sociology collection
• Select library materials for procurement or subscription
• Liase with Sociology staff and department on recommended materials
• Coordinate subject resources
• Provide instruction on literature searching and information skills training
• Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources

Operational Responsibilities:

• Catalogue and classify print and non-print library materials
• Perform authority control work to maintain consistency in use of headings
• Manage and monitor bibliographic utilities
• Monitor the physical processing, binding and preservation
• Respond to suggestions and feedback
• Perform Information Desk duties

About Myself :

• I graduated in 2005 from the National University of Singapore with an Honours degree in History, and joined the NTU library in the same year.
• I greatly enjoy playing the guitar for personal enjoyment, although I sometimes perform informally for friends. I enjoy cycling at East Coast Park for relaxation.
• I love catching up with friends over a cup of coffee, or over a karaoke session. :)
