Global temperature is predicted to rise an additional 3 to 10 degrees by the end of the century.
Rise of Sea Level
Rising temperature can cause the polar ice caps to melt. Rising sea level can have perilous effects on island countries.
Extreme Weather Events
Serious droughts and heat waves have happened and will continue to pervade. These are due to changes in temperature and precipitation patterns of the atmosphere and environment.
Increasing global temperature changes the ecosystem condition. This can possibly lead to animal extinction.
Hurricanes can do billions of dollars in damage. Agricultural productivity can decrease tremendously due to droughts and heat waves.
Spread of disease
Global warming may provide a favorable condition for vectors such as mosquito to reproduce at a higher rate. The vectors can spread the diseases such as dengue fever and malaria extensively.
