Unique Multi-disciplinary Art and Public Art on Campus

NTU Museum makes art accessible by exhibiting at prominent public spaces on campus. Our Public Art Initiatives​ have generated many multi-disci­plinary collaborations amongst NTU faculty, stu­dents, staff, and external stake­holders such as artists and engi­neers. Over the years, written concepts and proto-types from classes were developed and built. Such collaborations also created opportunities for learning beyond the classrooms. Students exchange ideas and gain practical skills through active participations and internships. Our unique public art collection powered by renewable energy, and our digital art collection are exemplary of a confluence of art, design, science, engineering, and technology, developed in NTU, for NTU and by NTU.


Loop

Loop was conceptualised by NTU students Kerin Ng, Ker Ziyi, Jassmine Ng and developed under the supervision of Fabrizio Galli, Visiting Artist.

Bloom

A collaboration between School of ADM, ERI@N and NTU Museum, "Bloom" is a renewable energy artwork that tells a story of love, luck, protection and prosperity.

Fern

Inspired by the lush greenery of NTU, "Fern" is a renewable energy artwork that also functions as a bench with a seating capacity for 12 people or more.

Using the latest multi-media technologies, Media Art Nexus (MAN) enhances the expression of digital interactive media and fine art on the vibrant campus.

With a height of over five metres, "Dandelion" by Wee Yen Lynn, School of ADM, ERI@N and NTU Museum is a renewable energy artwork fusing art with technology.

Reaching High

The sculpture titled "Reaching High", created by sculptor Sun Yu-li and ERI@N, was the first torch presented at the TorchUp! Festival during the 28th SEA Games.
