Operational Responsibilities :
Administrate, support and enhance the core module of the Library Management System (LMS) and the communication with relevant devices to support library functions and access to resources and services by users.
Assist in the development of the Library’s website strategy to achieve library goals; and administrate, maintain and coordinate enhancements to the Library website to provide up-to-date information on library's resources and services.
Administrate and coordinate enhancements to the Video Streaming Service to provide online access to videos recommended by faculty for teaching purposes, and videos produced by students and NTU.
Assist in the expansion of user access to the library catalogue and library resources by interfacing with online applications and tools.
Assist in the administration of the Portfolio System to support NTU digital projects.
Keep abreast of new developments in library systems and technology so as to provide users with the latest services available in order to support them in their teaching, research and learning activities.
Administrate and coordinate enhancements to the museum software to support NTU Museum's functions.
Work Experience :
Mee Ling was working in the IT department of a statutory board for several years. She made a career switch and joined the NTU Library in September 2009
