Operational Responsibilities ​:  

Scholarly Communication Division

  1. Provide leadership, support and coordination amongst/across stakeholders in the development and implementation of research data management services so that NTU researchers’ data could be more efficiently and effectively stored and managed for research integrity and long-term care and access purposes. 
  2. Oversee the development and implementation of NTU Digital Projects related services so that NTU faculty and students’ innovative, digital research output could be showcased for discovery and use by a global audience. 
  3. Support Head, SCG in various ways to achieve the goals of SCG. ​

Facilities Planning Division

  1. Provide leadership, support and coordination amongst/across stakeholders in the environmental scanning, conceptualisation, development, planning and implementation of renovation and construction projects so as to create an attractive environment that complements well with library services and users’ learning, research and social activities. ​

Work Experience :

Su Nee joined NTU Library as a trainee librarian in 1999 after working for 3 years as a management trainee and business development executive. She left in 2001 to work as a lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic where she taught cataloguing to diploma students in both full-time and part-time programmes. Three years later in 2004, she rejoined NTU Library as Senior Cataloguing Librarian. In 2005, she took on the additional role as Facilities Planning Coordinator as well as subject librarian for Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing and Engineering Management. In 2009, she was appointed as Head of Bibliographic Services Division and also Head of Library Facilities Planning Division. With the re-organisation in 2014, she left technical services and joined the newly expanded Scholarly Communication Group. She is now involved in data management, copyright and licensing and digital projects. She had also served as Vice President of the Information & Knowledge Management Society of Singapore in 2005-2006.
