Registration Procedure

NTU Staff and Students ​ ​NTU Staff and StudentsRegistration is automatic, your matriculation or staff card is your library card. For students on short courses, please contact us.
NIE Administrative Staff and StudentsBring your staff or matriculation card to register in person at the Library.

Staff without Staff Cards

(e.g. visiting professors, scholars and part-time staff)

To register online, please email us your:

  • Full name
  • Designation
  • Gender
  • FIN, NRIC or passport number
  • Email address
  • Local phone no.
  • Local address
  • Duration of appointment with NTU (e.g. 1 Jan 2016 to 31 Jul 2016)
  • Name of host professor or supervisor
  • For non-Singaporeans, digital photo image file with the following specifications:

           - JPEG format
           - 400 pixels (width) by   
             514 pixels (height)

Other NTU UsersMembers of the NTU Board of TrusteesMake a request for loans by sending us an email.
Chief executive officers and officers of director status as well as Members of Parliament and persons of similar status are granted loan and reference privileges on a case-by-case basis.   Loan and reference privileges are granted on a case-by-case basis. Please send us an email to make a request.

Non-members/ Visitors

Register to obtain a visitor pass which is valid for one week at any one time.

Complete the registration form 2 working days before your visit and email it to us

Approval of passes is on a case-by-case basis. The number of visitors will be restricted during peak periods.
