The Management Committee

The GDTI programme has a Management Committee of its own. It is chaired by Professor Helena Hong Gao, Assistant Professor of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She is responsible for the general curriculum design of the programme. The committee members include Professor Lawrence Wang-Chi Wong and Professor Quah Sy Ren, Associate Professor and Acting Head of the Division of Chinese. The committee carries the responsibility for ensuring that appropriate policies and procedures are in place for the programme to run smoothly. It also identifies and formulates new policies whenever needed.

The GDTI Programme Office

The GDTI programme office is headed by the Programme Director, Professor Helena Hong Gao. Ms. Kang Lifang, Programme Office Manager, takes care of the administrative matters for the programme and will assist students in solving all study related matters on a daily basis.

External Examiner

Professor Yang Cheng-Shu, Director of Graduate Institute of Translation & Interpretation Studies, Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, is appointed as an External Examiner for GDTI.
