Curriculum 

The BA Hons in Economics is designed as a four-year course. To graduate, students are required to complete at least 145 academic units (AUs).

a HE1xx subjects are equivalent to 3 AUs while HE2xx, HE3xx, HE4xx subjects are equivalent to 4 AUs.
b For Econ YOA 2004 students, the number of AUs is 26.

1 Students who have obtained at least a B grade for GCE A-Level C or F Mathematics, or equivalent, may apply for exemption.
2 Sequence B is a prerequisite for all HE4xx level econometrics subjects and HE321.

3Econ YOA 2004 students may choose from ANY sub-group.
Unrestricted Electives
