To take psychology as their second Major, students must have taken HP101 and obtained a good grade. Due to limited space, admission of second Major is based on academic merit.
Students who choose psychology as their second Major are required to complete 9 core courses and at least 4 prescribed electives.

HP 429X Seminar in Selected Topics
Undergraduates in their fourth year are encouraged to take a seminar course. Seminar in Selected Topics is also offered at the graduate level. Thus students at the undergraduate level need to seek approval from the instructor to read the course. It is coded with different suffix to reflect the different special topics offered by faculty members. Students may take more than one HP429X per semester.
HP499 Graduation Project (optional)
Students have the option to take a Graduation Project in the second Major, in lieu of one prescribed elective course (4 AUs), provided the Project is undertaken as an interdisciplinary project in conjunction with that required in the student's first Major.
