The Division currently offers a Masters of Arts by Research degree. The duration of the full-time MA programme is between 1 year and 3 years. Students usually complete the programme in 2 years.
An MA candidate is required to complete 3 enrichment courses approved by his/her supervisor, to attend 6 seminars, and to submit a dissertation.
Among the 3 enrichment courses, the candidate is required to take (1) at least two Foundation Courses including HP 7001 Advanced Research Design and Data Analysis, and (2) one Special Topic or Laboratory and Skills course as advised by the Supervisor. The courses are listed below.
