Friends of NTU
The Friends of NTU (FNTU) is a group of alumni and friends in the United States who wish to promote the
advancement of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
FNTU seeks to foster US alma mater interaction by organising or facilitating activities such as exchange programmes, workshops and seminars, to share alumni's knowledge and expertise for the benefit of NTU and its students.
FNTU has non-profit entity status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and welcomes private support from donors who wish to create a strong margin of excellence for NTU's academic, research and student programmes. The donations will fund scholarships, student aid or awards of excellence e.g. gold medals and cash prizes to the students of NTU in Singapore, faculty development initiatives, as well as research and academic programmes. They may also be used to enhance the physical infrastructure of the campus e.g. build libraries, labs, classrooms and lecture theatres, or on any other activity that will improve the quality of education provided by NTU in Singapore.
