Photography talents unleashed

The inaugural contest was opened exclusively to all NTU alumni, students, staff and faculty members. Attracting 835 entries from the NTU community, the top three and merit prize winners received their trophies and cash awards from Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office and NTU President Dr Su Guaning, during the annual alumni homecoming, NTU Alumni Day 2008, held on 4 October.

The Competition which was organised by the Alumni Affairs Office and supported by Nikon Singapore Pte Ltd and PhotoVivo.com, invited amateur and professional photographers to submit images that best captured memorable moments that encapsulate the theme "ConnectNANYANG".

The winning entry by Mechanical Engineering student Eric Leong, titled "Teamwork", was taken when he was volunteering as a photographer for Hall of Residence 15’s orientation camp.

We congratulate all our winners and thank the contestants for letting us see the world through their lenses.
